Online Northwave Extreme XC – MTB Shoes

The Hyperlight Michelin XC sole made of 100% unidirectional carbon with a stiffness index of 14.0 ensures best power transmission. The shoes get their low weight and good grip from Michelin rubber inserts with Dual Layer Compund technology, which offer 28% more abrasion resistance than TPU. But that’s not the only thing you’ll appreciate about this shoe; the patented XFrame 2® construction ensures that the upper transfers every watt of power while also providing you with a comfortable and snug fit without pressure points. This is all supported by the dual SLW3 scale, which differentiates the pressure between the upper part of the instep and the toe for even better adaptability.

New high-abrasion, ultra-thin reinforcements provide 360° protection along the entire upper. The integrated heel system with directional fiber prevents any slippage. In addition, the heel design is seamless for comfort and a “second skin” effect. For increased power transfer, a Pro Regular Fit footbed with a stiffened dual density design was used. The shoe is rounded out with a perforated upper for optimal ventilation.
